Center for Women & Enterprise, New Hampshire

A recent Maine expat, Alexandra began her role as Program Coordinator at the Center for Women & Enterprise’s New Hampshire location in July 2017. Alexandra has been committed to working for and serving nonprofits since 2014, when she graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History & Printmaking. She first entered the nonprofit sector via the arts, serving as the Curatorial Assistant at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art and the Social Media Manager for the Maine Photo Project. Alexandra shifted gears away from the arts and toward development in 2015 when she joined the YMCA of Southern Maine as the Philanthropy & Communications Coordinator. Most recently she has followed her passion for feminism and community service to her role at CWE. Alexandra attributes her career development to her time spent as a member of YNPNmaine’s Board of Directors, which she believes provided her a better understanding of the sector and herself, as well as an opportunity to develop serious leadership skills.

Alexandra looks forward to utilizing her recent move out of state as a tool to better understand the needs of Mainers and young nonprofit professionals. She is also excited to offer young nonprofit professionals a chance to become more educated, engaged, and involved in the sector through YNPNmaine’s valuable events and resources.
